Ten foods that are good for your body

1 → Tea

I know this isn't food, but it belongs on this list. Personally, I love drinking tea. I'm a coffee lover, but tea [in general] is much better for you. Ever hear when you're sick, your mom or your dad saying to have a cup of tea [maybe with lemon] to help your cold? Yup, it's the tea that helps out.

2 → Vegetables

They may seem boring, but sheesh, they help your body out! There's all sorts of goodies in the vegetable bunch. I'm not a fan of carrots, but they actually help out your eyesight. Veggies contain lots of vitamins.

3 → Fruits/Citrus

Eating fruits throughout the day helps give your body proper fiber and vitamin C, especially at work. When you think you're tired to the point of bopping your head on the desk, snack on grapes, an orange or a peach.

4 → Salmon

The only kind of salmon I've ever eaten was the Philadelphia Salmon Spread when I was kid, so I'm not sure if that counts? But, I heard salmon gives you glowy skin and is good for you in general.

5 → Nuts/Seeds

Due to the amount of oil nuts have, they help give you energy.

6 → Whole Grains

They got fiber, protein, and minerals and the best part is that it may help prevent heart disease, some cancers, obesity and diabetes. So, try eating a peanut and butter sandwich with whole grain bread!

7 → Lean Proteins

When you think of lean products, you think protien. It helps regain tissue and building muscle.

8 → Berries

Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries; oh my! These berries are believed to help in memory. They are very high in fiber and vitamins, so be sure to eat some for breakfast!

9 → Olive Oil

It's mostly used as a base for boiling water for spaghetti, salads, sauces and more. It's good for your cholesterol [lowers the bad cholesterol] and it's a great substitute for unsaturated fats [like butter!].

10 → Beans/Peas/Peanuts/Lentils

These provide calcium, iron, zinc and more. These also help prevent or slow down any growth of tumors/cancer/etc. Vegetarians eat most of this also to get soy. I'm a fan of the green peas :)

1 → Molly Ringwald

Ringwald is one of the most recognizable redheaded actresses, as she has starred in the following teen movies, 'Sixteen Candles', 'The Breakfast Club', and 'Pretty in Pink'.

2 → Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

They have been in the spotlight since 1987 when they were hired at 6 months old and have made names for themselves since then.

3 → Neve Campbell

She's the face of the 'Scream' movie series and was on 'Part of Five' for 7 years before that.

Just like her 'Party of Five' co-star, Hewitt also starred in scary teen movies like 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'. Other films include, 'Can't Hardly Wait', 'Heartbreakers', and 'House Arrest'.

5 → Kirsten Dunst

Though I don't really fancy her, she's done her share of teen movies. From the 'Spider-Man' series to 'Drop Dead Gorgeous', 'Bring It On', 'The Virgin Suicides', 'Elizabethtown', and 'Get Over It'.

Top ten most recognizable women in music

Top ten most recognizable women in music

1 → Madonna

I think this is obvious. Next :]

2 → Debbie Harry

In the mid-1970's, Blondie was born and a fashion icon was made and her name is Debbie Harry. Her style has quickly been recongized with the word 'punk' and still does to this day,

3 → Britney Spears

Though she may be going through a rough patch right now, Britney Spears has came and transformed the pop scene. She's a craze to the entertainment world.

4 → Mariah Carey

Mariah hasn't changed much; she still looks the same and has the same amazing voice in which she still uses. Just hopefully, she won't go back to acting :P

5 → Cyndi Lauper

What is there to say about Cyndi that doesn't show in the picture above? She's an amazing, care-free woman and performer.

6 → Gwen Stefani

She used to 'just a girl', but she's grown with ever-changing style that makes you remember what she has achieved in her lifetime.

7 → Cher

Out of the bunch, I think Cher equally has had a 'few' crazy outfits as Cyndi Lauper. We know her best from performing with Sonny Bono with their hit, 'I Got You, Babe'. Her voice and style have made her one of the most recongizable women in music.

8 → Christina Aguilera

Christina has also gone through changes of style: bubble gum popster, 'dirrty' and now classic mom-to-be. I believe when it comes to her, you either love her or hate her.

9 → Shirley Manson

Being the lead singer of Garbage since 1994, Shirley has helped the scene, along with Gwen Stefani, of having girls wanting to play music. Though she used to be bullied due to her hair color in school, she has certainly inspired girls today to be themselves and nobody else.

10 → Joan Jett

She loves rock 'n roll and is still performing to this day. She influences young girls to play instruments and be in bands to continue to spread inspiration.
